No — while contractors make up a big part of our client base, we also support freelancers and trades operating through limited companies.

Is FreeAgent included in my monthly fee?

Yes — FreeAgent software is included as standard in all our plans. It gives you a simple way to manage invoices, expenses, and bookkeeping while giving us the data we need to keep your accounts running smoothly.

Is Freeagent the only Bookkeeping tool you support?

No – we are also Xero Certified Advisers and can also help businesses who choose Xero to maintain their company records.

Do you handle IR35?

Yes — we regularly advise contractors and freelancers on IR35. We’ll help you understand your status, stay compliant, and plan accordingly.

Do you offer personal tax returns as well as company accounts?

Yes — all our plans include at least one personal tax return, with the option to add more if needed.

What if I already have an accountant?

We can handle the transition for you. Our team will work with your previous accountant to make the switch smooth and stress-free.

Can you help get my business set up correctly?

Yes – we will discuss your unique situation with you and help you make the right decisions. We’ll then complete the admin needed to get your chosen structure in place and ready for you to trade!

Do I need a separate business bank account?

Yes – whether you run a limited company or are a sole trader, you’ll need a separate bank account. This makes it easy to track your business’s financial activity and avoids confusion between your personal income and spending, and that of your business.

Why do I need an accountant?

It’s true that anyone can use commercially available software to record their business activity, but… hiring someone with the right level of experience and knowledge is the best way to ensure that you don’t inadvertently do something you shouldn’t and allows you to focus on building your business, your way!
